Christopher Nolan has set out to make the only movie in history that will only be good if you process it with AI.
The Odyssey — Homer’s 2800-year-old epic about a guy trying to get home after a war — will now be told by the man who gave us people walking backwards in time, dreams within dreams within dreams, and a spaceship that only makes sense if you draw it on a whiteboard while crying.
Odysseus: “I just want to go home to Ithaca.”
Nolan: “What if home was a construct and Ithaca was actually a tesseract?”
Odysseus: “I… I just killed a cyclops.”
Nolan: “The cyclops represents his guilt about the Trojan Horse. Also it’s his father.”
Gorgocutie says: I can’t wait to see the scene where Calypso explains the temporal mechanics of Ogygia while Odysseus stares at a spinning top. 🌀🎬⏳
