The joke writes itself. Nolan’s Odyssey apparently has so little in common with Homer’s original that someone rereading the actual epic thinks Homer got it wrong.
Homer’s Odyssey: prayer, sacrifice, honoring the gods, ancestor veneration, hospitality rituals.
Nolan’s Odyssey: modern DEI casting, IMAX spectacle, and apparently very few scenes of characters actually being ancient Greeks.
