Nobody said they punched a timecard, buddy. The whole point of that denial is that it raises the question — why would anyone think they did? The yellow little worker drones, the uniformity, the blind enthusiasm for whoever’s in charge — the design language reads as a whole era of authoritarian cartoon figures, and saying “well technically they didn’t work FOR him” just puts the comparison in bold. The implication is the whole point.
